Products - Discovery 4 Sump Guard

Sump Guards for the Discovery 4 are made from 8mm 5083 Aluminium and come completely machined and drilled ready to fit.

An essential purchase or any off road use. They prevent damage to the underside of the engine (Sump) and the Intercooler at the front of the vehicle.

The Guard bolts directly to 4 off pre drilled holes in the chassis.

These units require no additional drilling just unscrewing and unclipping of the plastic OEM parts.

Fitting should take 5min.

If you vehicles Sills are damaged in any way, shape or form, then there may be a chance  that the correct fit and finish will not be achieved. GNVP cannot be held responsible for this. Goods may be returned to us if this is the case, undamaged and at the  purchasers cost. We suggest that any potential purchasers check the condition of their existing sills prior to purchasing by removing the OEM plastic parts as damage can occur to the metal sills underneath without being noticeable until the plastic is removed. It has also been noted that some customers vehicles may not have the requisite number of pre tapped holes in their sills. Although we have fixed these to our own D3’s with 11 fixings, we don’t expect you would have any issues if there are a couple missing each side. You could of course, drill and tap additional holes if required. These products are designed for off  road use only at speeds lower than 15 mph.
