Products - Compressor Cover

The Compressor Cover from GNVP bolts directly into the chassis on the same mounts as the plastic cover. A lip runs along the bottom on the chassis rail helping upward forces.  There are no drain holes in the metal cover as the unit sits at a 15% angle, making sure all muck flows out the back. Due to the mounting positions this product is not a ‘sliding’ item but purely protection for the compressor itself. It is not suitable for lifting the car with.

If you vehicles Sills are damaged in any way, shape or form, then there may be a chance  that the correct fit and finish will not be achieved. GNVP cannot be held responsible for this. Goods may be returned to us if this is the case, undamaged and at the  purchasers cost. We suggest that any potential purchasers check the condition of their existing sills prior to purchasing by removing the OEM plastic parts as damage can occur to the metal sills underneath without being noticeable until the plastic is removed. It has also been noted that some customers vehicles may not have the requisite number of pre tapped holes in their sills. Although we have fixed these to our own D3’s with 11 fixings, we don’t expect you would have any issues if there are a couple missing each side. You could of course, drill and tap additional holes if required. These products are designed for off  road use only at speeds lower than 15 mph.
